COMPOSITION:

– Amoxicillin trihydrate: 20 g

– Excipients q.s.: 100 ml

USES:

Treatment of enteritis (caused by E. coli, Salmonella spp., Clostridium spp.), infections caused by Streptococcus spp. such as arthritis and meningitis, necrotizing otitis, urinary tract infections (nephritis, urethritis, cystitis, etc.), respiratory tract diseases (pneumonia, bronchitis, etc.), systemic infections and prevention of secondary bacterial infections.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE:

Route of administration: Intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SC) injection

Dosage:

– Dogs and cats (IM or SC):

+ 10 mg/kg body weight, equivalent to 1 ml/20 kg body weight every 12 hours: In cases of severe infection or septic shock.

+ 20 mg/kg body weight, equivalent to 1 ml/10 kg body weight every 24 hours: In cases of severe infection or septic shock.

+ 15-20 mg/kg body weight, equivalent to 1 ml/10-13 kg body weight every 48 hours: In cases of mild infection or prophylactic treatment.

– Cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, camels (IM or SC):

+ 10 mg/kg body weight, equivalent to 1 ml/20 kg body weight every 24 hours: In cases of severe infection or septic shock.

+ 10 mg/kg body weight, equivalent to 1 ml/20 kg body weight every 48 hours: In cases of mild infection or prophylactic treatment.

– Horses (IM):

+ 20 mg/kg body weight, equivalent to 1 ml/10 kg body weight every 12-24 hours: In cases of severe infection or septic shock.

+ 20 mg/kg body weight, equivalent to 1 ml/10 kg body weight every 48 hours: In cases of mild infection or prophylactic treatment.

Treatment duration: For at least 2 days. May vary depending on the veterinarian's opinion.
